How do I place an order off-line (ie: by mail or fax) ?
WRITTEN ORDERS
  1. Add your items to the online shopping cart as though you will be purchasing online.
  2. Prior to adding a credit card number for payment, select mail/fax orders from the drop down menu. This option will let you print your order as seen in the checkout.
  3. Please prepay in US dollars by check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Make checks and money orders payable to The Music Depot. Orders purchased by check will be shipped upon bank clearance.

FAX ORDERS
  1. Follow steps above for written orders.
  2. Fax your order complete with credit card information to: 610-837-8901. Fax Orders must be paid by credit card.

How do I place an International Order?
The Music Depot is not accepting online international orders at this time. Serious inquiries of orders over US$100 can be sent to us via e-mail at: customerservice@themusicdepot.com.

Shipping prices on the web site apply to US orders only. International shipping is considerably higher. A shipping quote will be e-mailed to the international customer after getting a final weight and destination on the order. The international customer must reply to this e-mail to approve the shipping costs prior to your order being processed.

Any international orders fulfilled are subject to any and all restrictions, prohibitions, and regulations of the customer's country. Any and all shipping/handling fees incurred for an international order are the responsibility of the purchaser and will be charged to your credit card. This includes any fees resulting in the return of the package to The Music Depot, minimum US$15 fee. (ie: returns for undeliverable addresses, failure to pick up package, package refusals, etc.). All duties, import fees, or fees of the like, are the responsibility of the purchaser.

A valid e-mail address must be provided for contact. The Music Depot will not make international phone calls or faxes regarding orders (including order errors, shipping quotes/fees, etc). If you can not be contacted by e-mail about your international order, it will not be processed.

Shipping prices are for US GROUND DELIVERY ONLY. Customers receive shipment notification via e-mail only.  Please be sure your e-mail address is correct on your order form.

DELIVERY
We ship in-stock items promptly using mostly USPS Priority Mail Service.  Priority Mail is delivered in an average of 2-3 days from the date of shipment. Other shipping services may be used based on weight and destination. Most efficient method of shipment is determined by The Music Depot.  Orders ship Monday through Friday.  Sales and specials are limited to stock on hand. 

If The Music Depot has any questions regarding your order (product availability, addresses, payment, etc) we will contact you via e-mail only. Up to three (3) attempts will be made to request a reply from the customer. The Music Depot is not responsible for any delay in shipping due to incorrect or incomplete information submitted on a customer's order form, customer's lack of response to our e-mail notifications, and/or a customer's credit card being declined. Please be sure that customerservice@themusicdepot.com and info@themusicdepot.com are on your 'allowed list' in your e-mail software. The Music Depot is not responsible for lost e-mail communications due to spam filters.  

If you would like faster than ground delivery, please send a request prior to placing your order for directions on properly submitting the order.  Your e-mail to customerservice@themusicdepot.com MUST include: ALL items you are ordering and quantities of each so we can see if all items are in stock, COMPLETE delivery address, and your "need by" date.  The Music Depot primarily uses USPS Express Mail delivery for faster shipments. Any expedited shipping quotes given are close estimates based upon the customer's e-mail. If the final order contains more products than what was originally quoted, the expedited shipping fees will be higher depending upon the final weight of the package. The online checkout only calculates ground shipping. Expedited shipping fees are adjusted to customer invoices after the order is submitted. An updated invoice will be provided to the customer upon shipment of the order.

UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS
If an order is returned to The Music Depot that is deemed "undeliverable" for any reason, we will contact the customer via e-mail only. Upon receipt of the e-mail, a response is expected from the customer within 48 hours to clarify the correct delivery address, etc.  A second shipment of the order will be at the customer's expense (no exceptions).  If the second shipment is requested by the customer, the credit card provided for the order will be charged for the second shipment.  If paying for shipping costs by check, the check must be received before the package is shipped again.  If the customer does not respond to our e-mail attempts, no refunds will be given on the order and the package will not be shipped again.  Returned orders will only be held for 14 days.


OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
If any items in your order are out of stock, we will notify you via e-mail only.  Be sure your correct e-mail is on your order.

What payment methods do you accept?
The Music Depot accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Money Orders, business and personal checks. All checks must clear before the order is shipped.

PURCHASE ORDERS

Formal purchase orders will be accepted via fax (610-837-8901) and mail from educational institutions only. Purchase orders must be a minimum product order of $25.00 (not including shipping and handling).

Invoice payments for purchase orders are Net 15, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please inform your school office of this 15 day payment policy.
Late fees will be applied and billed for payment. Finance charges will accrue until the invoice is paid in full.


RETURN CHECKS A $30 fee applies for all returned checks.

What are Special Orders ?
Special order items are products that are not kept in regular inventory. They are ordered from a manufacturer specifically for your order. Special order items are not returnable. All special order items should be allowed 2-3 weeks for delivery. Many times, it is delivered sooner. If damage occurs to a special order item in shipping, a replacement of only the same item can be made after a legitimate insurance claim is paid to The Music Depot. Special order items will be marked as such throughout the web site.
Do you have a catalog?

To keep our prices low (and to save a few trees) we do not offer a paper catalog. Our internet catalog allows us to keep our products, sales, and prices current for you. Please e-mail us at info@themusicdepot.com with any specific product questions you may have. We will be happy to answer your questions with the goal of keeping you as a valued customer.

Return and Refund Policies
PRODUCT RETURNS & EXCHANGES

All returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of the invoice date.
*** You must send an e-mail or fax to The Music Depot to acquire an RA (return authorization) number. The RA is required to make us aware of any merchandise that is being returned or sent for exchange. Your RA request must reference your invoice number, the item(s) being returned/exchanged, and the reason for the return. Please include your e-mail address and name. We will reply to you via e-mail with the RA number that must be referenced on the outside of your return package. Returns/Exchanges are expected within 7 days of when the RA number was issued. Any returns sent without an RA number are not guaranteed a refund/exchange. ***

1. Merchandise must be in the condition received (including all parts, bags, pieces etc)
2. Package the item(s) securely with a copy of your invoice. Please circle the item(s) you are returning.
3. Write the RA number on the outside of the package and on the enclosed invoice.

All non-defective items must be returned 100% complete and in resalable condition. Your package returns must be insured for the value of the contents. If your return is broken and/or damaged upon its return to us, and it is not insured, a refund/exchange can not be honored. If the item is returned without all original parts, bags, etc., a refund/exchange can not be honored. Customer will be charged for shipping fees incurred to exchange non-defective items.

Special Order items are only replaceable if damaged in shipment. They are not returnable or refundable. Please read "Special Orders". Any refunds honored without first obtaining an RA number will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

REFUNDS

Refunds on returned products are issued from The Music Depot less shipping and handling costs.

Refunds/Returns of Large Quantity Orders (10 or more of one item style) are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Food items are non-returnable. All returns in the category of PARTY SUPPLIES are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

The Music Depot is not responsible for return shipping costs. Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the purchaser/customer.

All sales on clearance and sale items are final.


DAMAGED PRODUCTS
All orders are packed carefully, securely and insured when they are shipped to our customers. Unfortunately, shipment damage occasionally occurs. If an item is defective or damaged in transit, please e-mail us within 3 days of receipt at: customerservice@themusicdepot.com. You will receive a prompt reply regarding a replacement. When items are damaged in shipment, only a replacement of the same item(s) is allowed subject to availability. If the damaged item(s) are no longer available, a refund will be issued. Defective items can be returned for exchange or refund.

Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice.
Sales and specials are limited to stock on hand.
Privacy Policy
Our mailing list, e-mail list, and customer phone numbers are not sold or distributed in any way. It is that simple. Your personal information is just that...personal.

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, The Music Depot shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. The Music Depot shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, The Music Depot shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
